ISLAND BEST PRACTICE

Global tensions and volatile economic, social, and environmental conditions are a significant long-term concern and, island communities in particular are generally less resilient than their mainland counterparts in adapting to negative external factors outside their control. This increasingly unstable situation presents real challenges for island administrations and island-based organisations.

ANGUS KEMP

Chris (Principal Advisor) has worked at the highest level of island government in strategic planning, economics, tourism, and utilities.

In the private sector, his primary aim over a number of years has been the development of a unique island research capability which not only benchmarks economic, social, and environmental strategies but also monitors resilience and best practice. He has given presentations on these subjects at several international events and to a number of global organisations.

Chris is a Member of CHATHAM HOUSE - The Royal Institute of International Affairs.
